It was great staying in an area where I could hike and canoe, and the holiday home had a terrace and balcony for enjoying the views. The hot tub was a nice touch. Also, loved the flat-screen TV!
Oh, and the highlight was definitely the terrible food at The Sun Inn. Just unforgettable.

My recent stay at Avondale in Llangollen was fantastic. The cottage was warm, cosy, and peaceful, offering amazing riverside views. The beds had good firm mattresses, which provided a comfortable night's sleep. The outside area adjacent to the kitchen was a wonderful addition. The location was perfect, with beautiful towns and beauty spots nearby. The property had great facilities and Helen, the host, was excellent in communication. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Avondale provided a practical, clean, and comfortable stay for us. The cottage was well-maintained and had plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed the large dining room and cozy lounge with a log burner. The balcony offered a great view, and the location, just steps away from a lovely pub, was perfect. The hot tub was a fantastic addition, and we loved listening to the nearby river. we had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at Avondale. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of handrails on the stairs and the need for more hangers, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was absolutely stunning, with amazing riverside views that added to the peaceful and cozy atmosphere. the cottage itself was warm and comfortable, with nice beds and a spacious living area. I especially enjoyed the added outside area, perfect for relaxing. the parking was also convenient and there were some lovely towns and beauty spots nearby to explore.
One drawback was the lack of handrails on the stairs, which could be a safety concern, especially for those with mobility issues. the TV could have been improved with better channels or streaming options.
